Travel to Korea

Visa Information

Nationals from 112 countries can visit South Korea visa-free for 30–180 days for tourist or official visits (K-ETA required). DH2026 attendees from other countries will be provided with a letter of invitation to help facilitate the visa application process. 

You can check if your country has a visa agreement on the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization website. 

International Airports

South Korea is easily accessible from anywhere in the world thanks to its highly connected international airports. In particular, there are many flight services to destinations across Asia, which we hope will allow more people living in Asia to attend DH2026. 

  • Incheon Airport, located near Seoul, has non-stop passenger flights scheduled to 154 destinations in 53 countries through 87 airlines. Opened in 2001, the airport is one of the largest, busiest, and most top-ranking in the world. Learn more about Incheon Airport. 
  • Gimpo Airport, located in Seoul, provides international services to major cities in East Asia like Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Songshan, Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, in addition to its numerous domestic flights. Learn more about Gimpo Airport. 

  • Cheongju Airport, located near Daejeon, services international flights to cities in China, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mongolia, with domestic flights to Jeju. Learn more about Cheongju Airport. 

  • Gimhae Airport, located near Busan, services international flights to destinations all across Asia, including China, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mongolia, as well as domestic flights. Learn more about Gimhae Airport.

From Incheon Int’l Airport

  • ~ 2 hrs via airport shuttle bus + high-speed train (~₩38,000)
  • ~ 3 hrs by airport limousine bus (~₩28,000)

From Cheongju Int’l Airport

  • ~ 50 min by taxi (~₩60,000)
  • ~ 1 hr 20 min by express bus + local bus (~₩8,000)

From Gimhae Int’l Airport

  • ~ 2 hrs 30 min by express bus + train via Daegu (~₩30,000)

From Seoul Station

  • ~1 hr 5 min by high-speed KTX train (~₩24,000)
  • ~1 hr 50 min by regular Mugunghwa train (~₩16,000)

From Suseo Station in Seoul

  • ~55 min by high-speed SRT train ( ~₩29,000)

From Express Bus Terminal in Seoul

  • ~2 hrs by express bus (~₩17,000)
