Call for Papers: ICLA DCL / SIG-DLS Mini-Conference — “Digital and/or Comparative Literary Studies Today”

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for a mini-conference titled “Digital and/or Comparative Literary Studies Today”, jointly organized by the ICLA Digital Comparative Literature (DCL) research committee and ADHO’s Special Interest Group in Digital Literary Studies (SIG-DLS), taking place as part of DH2026 in Daejeon, South Korea (July 27–31, 2026).

Following the success of their event at DH2025 Lisbon, this half-day mini-conference explores the intersection of digital/computational and comparative approaches to literary studies — from distant reading, cultural analytics, and network analysis to generative AI and born-digital literature. Contributions addressing multilingual, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary research are particularly welcome.

The mini-conference consists of two parts: a lightning talks session followed by an interactive poster session. Free on-site poster printing is expected to be available for most participants.
