AVinDH Mini-Conference at DH2026: 10 Years of AudioVisual & Digital Humanities
The AudioVisual & Digital Humanities Special Interest Group (AVinDH SIG) will hold its 10th-anniversary mini-conference at DH2026 in Daejeon, South Korea. The full-day session invites all DH2026 attendees to reflect on a decade of work on audiovisual materials in the Digital Humanities and to shape the future of the community.

- Welcome & Introduction
- Panel: “AVinDH SIG turns 10!” — reflections on past, present, and future, with discussants Lauren Tilton (University of Richmond) and Michaël Bourgatte (Université de Lorraine), moderated by Alison Langmead (University of Pittsburgh)
- Speed Dating — a structured networking activity
- Lightning Talks — 5-minute presentations on current AVinDH research
- Tool Cavalcade — 5-minute showcases of AVinDH tools
- Wrap-up — final reflections on future directions
